Another recently hooked bird purse which is standing on a limb of bittersweet.  There is a goldish rayon lining which has a small pocket to accommodate car keys, lipstick or small cell phone.  There is also a cloth covered snap closure at the top middle of the purse.  The purse measures 9" x 9 1/2" and is hooked only on the front side.

Strawberry Patch is a design by Claire Murray and measures 28" x 33".  This is hand hooked by me, using 100% wool cable yarn ~ it is NOT latch hook, but rather hooked in the traditional way.

This is my original design and measures 9 1/2" x 12".  There is a combination of over dyed, textured and as is wool to complete the piece.

As you can see it is a bee skep with baby flowerettes and a bloomed flower, the sun and bees hovering over the skep above.  The bees are wired and it makes for a 3-dimensional wall hanging piece.  It has already been prepared to hang.  Yours for $70 plus shipping.

For you cat lovers I have hooked this purse as an adaptation from an antique rug.  It measures 8 1/2" x 9 1/2", is hooked with 1/4" strips of both hand dyed and 'as is' wool.

The back of the purse is solid wool (not hooked) and the strap is braided 1/2" wool strips, the same as the back.  It is lined and has a small pocket for keys or lipstick.  There is a snap closure.  $65 plus shipping.

This elegant yet folk-style Blue Bird hooked purse measures 8 1/2" across the fullest part and 9 1/2" from top to bottom.  It has been hooked using hand dyed wool, has a blue rayon lining and off white twist wrap strap.  There is a snap closure and an inside small pocket for keys or lipstick.  Only the front is hooked, the back is woven off-white wool.   $68 plus shipping.

Circle Whimsy measures 10" x 35" and is a design by Brenis Thompson.  It is hooked using #8 cut wool strips (1/4") using both hand dyed and as is wool.

This would make a wonderful table runner at any time of the year, but especially so for patriotic holidays.  $195 plus shipping.

Hooked and prodded flower pins vary in dimension, but the average size of the flower is approx. 3"in diameter.  Many of my customers put them on their straw hats in the summer but some just use them to dress up a winter coat or dress.  The back of the pin is finished with wool and pin clasp.

Lillian is made of tea dyed woven cotton; the nose, fingers and toes have been needle sculpted for a more primitive look.  Her facial features are embroidered with floss.

Annie's face is hooked using wool felt vs. woven wool so there wouldn't be any loose threads.  Her arms, legs and body are out of the same.
